What you can do here
Download video
Paste a link and the server reads the formats the platform is offering, so you can weigh resolution against file size before committing. Streams above 720p arrive as separate video and audio and are merged for you into one playable MP4.
Extract audio as MP3
Pull the audio track out and encode it at 192 kbps — the point where quality stops improving noticeably for a lossy source. Genuinely useful for lectures, conference talks and podcasts published only as video.
Transcribe speech
A Whisper-family speech model turns audio into text, with a fast mode and a slower, more accurate one. Accuracy depends heavily on the recording — always check a transcript against the audio before quoting it.
Summarize documents
Upload a PDF, DOCX, TXT or Markdown file and get a structured summary with key points. Text from your file is sent to OpenAI to produce the summary, so please do not upload confidential material — see our Privacy Policy.
What this site will not do
- • Private, age-restricted and members-only content. We do not circumvent access controls, and there is no setting that changes it.
- • Host or index anything. There is no library and no search here. The site has nothing until you paste a link, and keeps nothing after you leave.
- • Keep your files. Processing happens in a temporary directory that is deleted once your download completes.
- • Disguise ads as download buttons. Advertising on this site is labelled and kept out of the way of the thing you came to do.

How do I download a video?
Copy the link, paste it into the box above and press Get Formats. Pick a resolution, or choose MP3 if you only want the audio.
Am I allowed to download this video?
Only if you own it, it is public domain, its licence permits reuse, or the rights holder has given you permission. Being publicly viewable is not permission, and most platforms’ terms restrict downloading separately from copyright law. Our copyright guide explains where the line actually falls.
Why did my download fail?
Usually the video is private, deleted, region-blocked or age-restricted. Open the link in a private browser window — if it does not load there, there is nothing to fetch. The FAQ covers the rest.
Is it really free?
Yes. The site is funded by advertising — there is no paid tier, no trial that starts charging, and no account to create.
