Acceptable Use Policy

This policy forms part of our Terms of Use. It applies to everyone who uses allinonevideodownload.com, and it is short on purpose: a policy nobody reads protects nobody.

Uses we support

• Saving your own uploads, recordings and posts, including recovering ones you have lost.
• Saving content licensed for reuse — Creative Commons and similar — on the terms of that licence, including any attribution it requires.
• Saving public domain material.
• Saving content where the rights holder has given you permission. Keep that permission in writing.
• Extracting audio from a lecture, talk, interview or podcast you have the right to use, so you can listen offline.
• Transcribing recordings you have the right to transcribe — meetings, interviews, your own videos — including for accessibility.
• Summarizing documents you own or are authorised to process.

Uses that are prohibited

• Infringing copyright. Downloading commercial music, films, television, audiobooks or any other protected work without the rights holder’s permission — particularly to redistribute, re-upload or monetise it.
• Circumventing access controls. Attempting to reach private, age-restricted, paywalled, DRM-protected or members-only content. The Service does not support this and trying is a breach in itself.
• Re-uploading other people’s work as your own, on any platform, in whole or in part.
• Content that is unlawful — child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, terrorist content, or material that incites violence. We report such material to the relevant authorities.
• Processing other people’s private material — uploading recordings or documents containing personal data you have no right to process, or transcribing a conversation recorded without the consent the law where you are requires.
• Automated and bulk use. Scripts, scrapers, crawlers or any process submitting requests faster than a person could, without our written permission.
• Reselling or rebranding the Service, framing it inside another product, or presenting it as your own.
• Attacking the Service — probing for vulnerabilities, denial-of-service, or anything that degrades it for other people.

What we do about breaches

Depending on what has happened, we may rate-limit or block the addresses involved, refuse specific requests, terminate access entirely, preserve and disclose records where we are legally required to, and report unlawful material to the appropriate authority. We terminate access for repeat copyright infringers, as described in our Copyright & DMCA policy.

We do not require notice before acting where the breach is serious, and we do not owe a refund because the Service is free.

Reporting a breach

If you believe someone is misusing the Service, email legal@allinonevideodownload.com with as much detail as you can. For copyright specifically, follow the notice procedure on the Copyright & DMCA page — it lists what a valid notice must contain, and complete notices are acted on within 48 hours.

A note on why these limits exist

We could remove several of the restrictions above and the Service would get more traffic. We have chosen not to. A tool for retrieving your own work, licensed work and public domain work is a legitimate thing to run; a tool built to strip protection from other people’s work is not, and the difference is worth keeping even when it costs us users. If you need something this Service deliberately will not do, it is not the right tool.
